A loop from Simba Farm (1,760m) to Kilimanjaro's Moir Camp (4,170m) and back, up the Lemosho route and down the Shira rescue road through farmland, rainforest and moorland. 3,050m of climbing. A serious high-altitude ultra where climbing, altitude and fast-changing weather all play a major role. Cutoff 13.5 hours. Limited to 60 runners.

Do NOT assume the difference between the 75 and the 65 is a mere 10K of running.

A loop from Simba Farm to Shira 1 (3,510m) on the Shira Plateau and back. 2,225m of climbing. Cutoff 13.5 hours — about as accessible as a high-altitude ultra gets, though the climbing, altitude and weather still make for a tough day.

This is a serious mountain

Altitude, sudden weather and remote terrain make these real expedition-grade ultras. A full medical team is on course.

Mandatory kit, aid stations and cutoffs TBC

13.5-hour cutoff on all three distances, timed from the mass start at Simba Farm.

Arrive at least a day early. Altitude is the most common reason runners do not finish.
