The 75K reaches Moir Camp at 4,170m, the 65K reaches Cathedral Point at 3,850m, and the 50K reaches Shira 1 at 3,510m. All three start and finish at Simba Farm, 1,760m.

Arrive at least a day early to settle and acclimatise. Altitude is the most common reason runners do not finish.

A full medical team is on course, and medical cover is included with every festival pass.

The ultras carry a mandatory kit list covering cold, wet and remote conditions. The 2027 list is published with the competitor handbook.

Secure on-site campsites with toilets and hot-water showers. They are the heart of the festival.

Yes. Set-up tents come with a cot, mattress and bedding — indicatively around $75 single or $85 double per night.

Yes. There are vendors throughout the village, and you are welcome to bring your own as well.

A race entry includes your festival access for race days. A festival pass lets you camp, eat, watch and enjoy without racing.

Day pass $15 adult / $10 youth. 3-day pass $39 adult / $25 youth. Children 10 and under are free.

Access to the event village, food and drink vendors, live music, the race expo, restrooms with hot-water showers, basic security and a full medical team.

The Rafiki Run is a free 1.5K for kids, and there are fun rides and activities in the village all weekend.

Children 10 and under are free. Youth passes are $10 for a day and $25 for three days.

The 65K and 50K split at 25K, where 65K runners may drop to the 50K to keep a finish.
